Many people love elephants - I sure do. You see elephants on everything: T-shirts, pajamas, pillows, paintings and more. So instead of the usual picture of an elephant, why not the other side? The title is "Walking Away" but in my AKA way (also known as), the title "Elephant Butts" works too.

The painting is 12 x 16 Acrylic on Canvas - Elephant Butts is of a mother elephant and baby walking away. Some ask me "why elephant butts?" I say better walking away than coming toward you in many respects.

Nonetheless, wrinkles on top of wrinkles and skin that dry looking wasn't easy to depict, let alone can you imagine how much skin lotion that would be needed for those rumps? Anyway, I thought it was cute in an odd way. So for the elephant lovers everywhere, Elephant Butts.

I am the creator of this artwork so feel free to ask any questions or see my FAQs here on Etsy. When shipping, I carefully wrap and prepare your original artwork so that it will arrive for you in pristine condition. Also, please note that:
1. This is an unframed original handmade acrylic painting on stretched canvas.
2. This is NOT a print.
3. Canvases are prepared with gesso before painting (unless otherwise noted) and finished with a varnish for protection. (See Painting Care on my Blog or here on Etsy)
4. Typically, I finish the edges of my paintings so they can be hung unframed if you like. Please ask if any questions but in the photos, I try to show how the edges look.
5. Canvases over 5x5 are prepared for hanging by me with eye hooks and wire.
